About

Robert LeGendre has been playing piano since age 6, and started providing piano lessons in 2012.

His employment at the University of Arizona School of Dance since 2017 involves providing accompaniment for ballet and modern dance classes, where he plays a combination of piano, electronic synthesizers, and hand percussion.

His regular performance schedule includes multiple assisted living homes where he plays monthly, as well as yearly birthday parties and social events as they happen.

His current students range in age from 6 to 80. His teaching style focuses heavily on music theory, and applying that knowledge to the genre the student is interested in learning. He creates a personalized syllabus for each student to fit each unique interest.
